Company Profile vs. Corporate Catalog: Which Does Your Business Need First?

A company profile and a product catalog answer two different questions, and confusing them usually means you built the wrong document for the meeting you're actually walking into.

A company profile answers "who are you, and can we trust you?" — it covers your history, capabilities, certifications, and track record. It's what a new partner, bank, or tender committee asks for before they'll even look at what you sell.

A catalog answers "what exactly can you sell me, and at what specification?" — it's product-led, detailed, and aimed at a buyer who's already decided you're a legitimate company and now wants specifics.

If you're entering a tender process or approaching a new distributor for the first time, the profile usually needs to exist first. If you're already known and the conversation has moved to specific products, the catalog matters more. Tell us which situation you're in and we'll recommend where to start.
